My last post....

This is my last post on this blog, I feel a little sad because I will stop to write every week here. I think that the experience of write in english is very good because you can practice your writting. Also you can write about different topic every week. That is fun!

Other thing that I like, was see my friends blog so I can learn a little bit more of they. For example when we write about or favorite food or music it was very interesting read the other post and make comments

I think that I have to improve my writting and oral on english, because maybe I can understand a lot of things but sometimes I dont use correctly the verb time. So I have to upgrade that topic. I will like in the future maybe take a course or travel to a country where I can learn the language practicing every day.

Other thing that I believe that I have to improve is my vocabulary, some time I have to search in the 

translator. I think that you have to practice and study a lot for improve the vocabulary

Outside the classroom I use english in different occasion, for example if I hear a good song in English I like to trasladate the lyrics to Spanish, so I can know what things I am singing. Also for example some web sites in internet are in English so it is very good know English. 

I hope for the future improve my english a lot!!! :D

2015 reflections

Well If I have to describe in just one word how this year has been, It will be.... Learning.

In this year I will finish my fourth year of journalism and I will be a one year of graduate. The time past very fast. Also in this year I do it my professional practice, it was very stressful study and work.

I think that in this year I grow up a little in a lot facet. The good points of this year are that I learn how it is work and study at the same time and I appreciate the free time. In this moment I can do all the things that I love more. Other good thing of this year is that I get closser with my family.

The bad things of this year are that like I have to do the practice and study, there were months that I really don't have time for me. I was running all the time and I think that you have to enjoy the life and don't live the life like you was in a raccing. 

Finally I hope for the next year do all the things that I like, and live every second to the fullest. I don't believe that I will work the next year but you never knows. I will like for the next year learn new things. I want to take advantage of my last year of university

My next holidays

My favorite part of the year are the holidays!!! I think that is very important have a lovely holidays so you can start with a lot of energy the new year!

My last Holiday was very cool! In january I travel to Perú and Bolivia with my boyfriend , we know a lot of places, it was a great experience!! And then in february I travel with my family to Brazil, I really love the beach so it was a amazing experience!

For this summer i dont have so clear what things i will do, i just know that i want to travel like my last holiday, with my family and boyfriend.

I love travel so I hope that i can do it a lot!!!!If I have to think in my dream holiday i think that it will be go to some place with a nice weather and a big beach!!! Maybe mexico, colombia or brazil!!!! It will be cool!

I LOVE THE SIMPSON

Well I really like TV, I can watch TV ALL day.

When I was younger, I like to see "Sister,sister", "Sabrina" and "Clueless". I remember that I watch that series in Nickelodeon.  

When I have like 19 years old, I start to watch horror series, like American Horror Story, I really like that serie, It was very scary serie but it was a good one... I remember that sometimes I have to watch the chapters with my eyes amost closed

One serie that I really like to see is The Simpson, I can watch the simpson all day. Sometime when I have free time I like to leaned back on the bed and see all the chapters. 

I think that I start to watch The Simpson when I was a little girl. My favorite character on the serie is Homero, he make me laugh a lot!!

I'm not green

Well, I think that is important care our planet, however I do nothing for care our earth.  It is complicate for me wirte about that topic because I know- nothing about this matter.

The only thing that I do for care the earth is disconnect the electronic device when I am not using. For example the charger of my phone.

In my home , we dont practice the recycling. The only thing that my mom say about be more aware with the planet it is that we have to turn off the TV when me or my sister are not watching the TV. 

I believe that it is very important for us , like society, start to take conscious about the importance of respect and care the earth where we live. For that reason I believe that is very important teach children how protect the environment 

I really like to see how the people reuse and have other practices that definitely help for example to stop the global warming

Maybe in the future I will like to recycle and care more the earth.

I ♥ FOOD

Well for start I have to say that I definitely love all kind of food!!!! I think that eat it is one of the best in the all world!!!

It is difficult for me choose just one favorite food. Maybe all the food are my favorite , but in this moment If I have to think in one plate my choose is a piece of salmon with mushroom sauce and duchess potatoes,  of course all this with a lot lettuce.

I love the combination of salmon and mushroom sauce, when is my birthday i always say to my mom that cook that plate for me.

I really like all type of fish, when I go to visit my grandparents in the beach, they always cook a lot of fish for my all family!

I think that the duchess potatoes are a great accompaniment for all type of meat and fish. I like the potatoes in all the way of preparation.

For end my post, I have to say that I think that all meal have to finish with a great dessert. In my case my favorite dessert will be ice- cream . However I love all kind of candys!!!! ♥ ♥

My passion

Well It is difficult for me write about passion. I dont know what exactly means.

If I have to think in something that I love and enjoy every time that I do,  I just can think in dance.

I remember that when I was little I really enjoy dance. For example when I was in the kindergarten I always want to performance for any ceremony. 

When I was in the school, my desire to dance did not decrease. In fact in my all school period I was member of a dancing group in my school. We was a group of girls that dance with pompons. Actually the discipline call: pompons . I study in Punta Arenas and I remember that we travel many times to Santiago for the national championships.

When I finish the school it was sad leave the group, but here in Santiago I find other places to dance. For example I try to go always to zumba and baile entretenido class.

I think that is importan have a passion because that make you a happy person. When I have problems or I have a lot things to do for the University, I know that dancing I can forget and expel all my tensions.

Sometimes when I want to free energies I put the music loud and start to dance in my bedroom

My plans after graduating

Well it is difficult for me write about what I am going to do after the university, because i am, not complete clear.

I study in the University of Chile and right now I am in my fourth year of journalism.  This semester I started my professional practice and I realize that I dont want to work soon. I prefer study or travel. I know that maybe travel just for fun and tourist it is difficult, so I prettend get around the world studying and perfecting my career.

When I will finish my career I will like to learn other languages, but not in a class room. I will like to learn the new idiom knowing the country. Like Italy, England or France.

I know that in the future I have to work, and I will like start working in mass media , to get experiencie. I want to after I want to explore all the options that the journalims give, like work in magazine, television and companies. 

My idol of T.V

Maybe I change my mind but I will like to work in a company in the future. I dont have problems to work in mass media right now, but I will dont like to dedicate my all life to that. 

chuchuca concert

Well I am dont the type of person who love going to a concert. The last concert that I went was in Viña del Mar, I saw Ricardo Arjona .I love romantic music.Some people says that Arjona dont make good music, maybe they are right but I still loving his music.

However my favourite concert is far away from romantic music. The concert that I most remenber is one of the group that I love when I was a little girl. Axe Bahía is a brasilian group that was very famous in my country. I was 8 years old when I travel for holidays with my family to the south of Chile. We was in a hotel in Chiloé and the receptionist told us that Axe Bahía would do a concert in the city. I was very excited and I begged to my parents go to the concert. It was a amazing experience, even I went up to the stage and hug my idols.

I remenber that I love dance axé, when I was little I knew all the choreography of the band. My favourite person in the group was Franccini , even I roll up my T-shirt to look like her. My favourite song of the was chuchuca.

My dream trip

It is difficult for me choose just one place that I would like to visit, because I love travel. If I have to choose right now, I definitely will choose Aruba. This country is an island in the southern Caribbean Sea.

The principal reason of my decision,  is that in Aruba I can have all the things for my dream trip. Aruba have a great weather, I love the sun and the beach so if I travel to that country I will pass all the day in the beach.

Aruba has great places of interest like Alto Vista Chapel , Palm and Eagle beach. One of the most amazing place is Arikok National Park, in this park you can enjoy the nature of the island

Other thing that I like of that country is the different sports that you can do in the island, I will like to diving in the ocean .

I think that destination is great decision for a holiday family or for a couple holiday. I believe that it will be so romantic go to a Aruba with your lover.

Blogging experiencie

In this post I will write about the experiencie of have a blog in english. I start to write in this web site because i have to this for a english class, I really enjoy the experiencie because I have to write about a lot of different things and I learn how to write news english words.

I think that definitely have this blog improve my writing in english because every week I must to write in that language.

Have this blog motivate to maybe in the future have a new blog , however I think that I will write in Spanish (It is more easy for my explain in my language, spanish)

The good things about write a blog is that every week we have different and entertainment topics for write.I cant think in bad things about blogging.It is very possitve for recover my english

I will change that at least one time in the month every student can choose about any topic that he or she will want to write in the blog

Ciper, a great option to inform

Today I will write about a great web site that I use for inform about different news . I am talking about http://ciperchile.cl/ , this is a chilean site that have four sections: report of investigation , topical issues and interview, opinion and access to the information.

I visit the site at least two days in the week .The site was created in 2007,  I think that is very important that a future journalist have to inform about everything. Ciper is a great option to inform because is a alternating and nonprofit medio. 

The section that I most like is report of investigation, because the material that upload is very complete and sometimes the information is so controversial that other medios use that research for inform the people. 

I think that is very important that in our country exist independent medios because this is the only way for improve the chilean journalism.One of the last report that I enjoy was "The life of Karadima away from the power" , the article related how is the everyday of the ex  leader spiritual. 

Candys, mi favourite food :)

I really like eat. For example when I watch TV I enjoy eat anything like chocolate , cookies and crips. If I have to choose one favourite food is very complicated, but in this occasion I will talk about the candys.

The white chocolate is my weakness , is never sufficient for me!When I go to the supermarket I always buy this type of chocolate. When I think about candys we can mention the cookies, i love all type of biscuit!! In my house you always will find different wrapper of cookies. My favourite cookies have cream inside.

Other type of sweets are the cakes , my favorite cake have "dulce de leche" , pastry and cream! I always for my birthday want that my mom order that type of cake. 

One of my last discovery in the candy world are the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. I really like this candy , because Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are a milk chocolate cup confection made of chocolate coated peanut butter. I really love the taste, because mix the sweet of chocolate with the peanut butter. 

Romantic end

My favorite photograph is the  "V-J Day in Times Square". This foto was taken by Alfred Eisenstaedt. The photo shows an American sailor kissing a woman in a white dress on Victory over Japan Day in Times Square in New York City, on August 14, 1945.

The photograph was taken with a Leica IIIa camera and was divulged a week later in Life magazine.I really like that Eisenstaedt was photographing a spontaneous action that occurred in Times Square as the announcement of the end of the war . I think the photo is a proof of the happiness and enjoy that the people feels about the end of the war.

Some people think that the photo dont was natural, but a lot of evidence shows that it was a spontaneous moment .The girl who appear in the photo is Edith Shain , the indentity of the sailor is unknown.

In 2005 John Seward Johnson II , made a bronze sculpture "Unconditional Surrender", for the sixtieth anniversary of the photo that capture the end of the war. I really good picture that until now is comment.

My favorite movie

I dont have ONE favorite movie, because I like a lot of films. However one of my favorite movie is Bridesmaids, because is very funny and I can see million times and everytime that I waych I laugh very much.

Bridesmaids is a 2011 American romantic comedy film directed by Paul Feig and written by Annie Mumolo and Kristen Wiig. The movie have a reallly positiv critic of the experts.The movie relate the story of Annie (Kristen Wiig), who suffers a series of misfortunes after being asked to serve as maid of honor for her best friend, Lillian ( Maya Rudolph).

My favorite scene ever is when in the party of engagement, Annie and Helen (Rose Byrne) want to have the best toast. my favourite piece of technology

I really love technology, I think is very advantageous for us have technology. My Favourite piece of technology are the smarthphone because I  believe that you can do a lot of things with this device. I have mi smarthphone since December of 2011, it was a gift from my dad.

I use a lot my smarthphone for differents activities for example read a book, play a game, listen music, read my emails and watch videos. However the thing that I most do is check my social networks like facebook. twitter,instagram and pinterest.

Smarthphone are my favourite thing of technology because are small and you can take the phone to everywhere you go. Besides I love that with the smartphone you can take great photos and remenber a lot of nice moments.

The world whitout smartphone will be the same, I dont think that the persons have to depend of the technology. Of course the smartphone makes the life a little more easy but maybe if this type of phone dont exist, the people will improve the personal comunication. 

My expectations

Like I wrote in my first entrance, I am in my fourth year of Journalism in the Universidad de Chile. This semester I have six subjects : Latioamerican perspective , Television , skill of investigation in comunication , theory and experience multimedia, stategic planning and English level 3.

In my free time I liked to dance, I dance diferent types of music, but the rhythm that I most enjoy for dance are salsa and reggeton. Besides I play soccer with my friends every sunday. The University have a lot of activities, I participate in the official soccer team , we trainning all the monday and thursday.

My schedule is very good, I have time for spend with my family and my boyfriend. I really enjoy do activities with my loved ones. My expectations for this semester is dont have exams and pass all my course with a great mark and of course keep doing the things that I
love.

My dream travel

There are lots of countries that I would like to visit. In the future I want to travel around the world . I would like to go to Italy because that country have differents citys that for me are incredible like Rome, Milan, Verona, Florencia and Venice.

I dont know a lot of the country, i just know that the gastronomy is delicious. The Italian are expert in the art of cooking spaghetti.Also I know that the culture in Italy is amanzing, there is a lot of great artist like Miguel Angel , Donatello and Sandro Botticelli

The first thing that I would do in Italy is prove the Italian food and know the Roman Coliseum, because i think that the infrastructure is fantastic. I would like to study there because i think that is very advantageous for a future journalist know differents realitys and cultures.Maybe I can imagine living in Italy but just for a short time. I really like Chile.

biography

Hello! this is my first entrance in my first and unique blog! I want to start to present myself in this way you can know me better.

My name is Fernanda Jerez Lara and i live with my family in Santiago de Chile. I am 21 years old and study since 2012 journalism in Universidad de Chile. I am very happy witth my degree because i think that you can do a lot thigns when you are a reporter.

I have one sister, she is called Montserra and she is 14 years old. She go to German School and she loves animals and soccer. My mom have my same name, Fernanda, she is 41 years old. We all together go the cinema , we love comedy movies. 

I have a lot of hobbies, i love dance. The last semester i was in class each week and it was amanzing i pass a great time. Soccer is another hobbie, i usually practice with my friends, and is very funny.
